Say what you want regards whether we were in for XA or not, whilst understanding RM was a former club, they are a toxic club and he jumped to manage them, poor judgement by the way. A year on and he's off to Chelski, red glasses off and I don't think much of his judgement or his choices.
I personally will never want him now, rejected moves to stay at Bayer (about the only decision I respect). But Chelsea leaves a poor taste in my mouth.

Sadiki, seems pretty obvious we didn't want him or were prepared to bend for him - I've no issue with Xabi going anywhere especially if his primary target (us) didn't want him.

I don’t think he will ever end up at Liverpool either after a Chelsea move - but also, what can a man do if Liverpool didn’t even speak with him or offer him anything.

I wouldn't worry about not wanting him because he joins Chelsea. I'm fairly sure that XA wouldn't want anything to do with us either after being f***ed about by us since Santa was last here.

This feels the same as the matchday fans at Anfield booing Guehi because his move to us didn't happen. The fault is at the hand of the incompetent fraud that is Edwards and Hughes. Why boo Guehi and blame Alonso for not joining us.

If Joe Cole can move to Liverpool after being at Chelsea then anyone can.
