Ed 25 claims Pickford is the best English keeper ever he's not even in the same lane as David James and he was crap. I haven't laughed as much since the Origi goal against Everton. His only claim to fame is trying to leave players in wheelchairs.

We don’t have a lot of talent in the goalkeeper position and haven’t since Seaman really.
Pickford is a liability; he’s too rash and loses his head too often. He’s a poor goalkeeper and a big reason why I think England can’t win the World Cup.
But it’s a toss up between him, Trafford, Pope; they are all poor keepers, so Pickford gets the nod for his experience.
It says a lot about the lack of quality in that position that Pickford has 90 caps. If Seaman, Shilton, Clemence were around today, Pickford would have less than 10 caps.

Have to agree Ed025, singly the most vulnerable position quality and depth wise England have in the team.
I doubt Pickford would make the squads of most of the top international teams, let alone play, but he is the best of what we have.
With that sparkling review I expect him to now have 4 MoMs performances and lift the cup!
{Ed025's Note - i dont think hes the best Avit but hes certainly not the worst, he can win you games and lose you ones mate but i dont think hes exactly the weakest link mate, that will go to the crap Arsenal wingers or the very poor defence imo..

There are a lot of players in the England squad who are similar to the Emperor's new clothes. If Bellingham and Rice were anywhere near as good as their posturing suggests they think they are they'd be half way decent footballers.
Madueke and Spence shouldn't be anywhere near an international football team and Pickford, Guehi, Konsa, Rashford and Gordon only get a game because the alternatives are even worse than they are.
