I can't see Rayan leaving Bournemouth this summer to be honest. It's more likely that they sell Kroupi (big interest from Spurs, PSG and Barcelona) and Scott (Apparently rejected an improved contract and is subject to interest from a few Premier League teams).
If that happens it's hard to see them selling Rayan as well especially with them having European football this season and having sold so well over the last year they'd be under no pressure to sell now.

Utd have pulled out of the race for Scott and Chelsea had a £64m bid rejected. Don't think anyone is paying the required fee. They have no intention of selling Kroupi or Rayan, but I reckon they both go as Bournemouth are not doing great in the new rules.

Sold Huijsen, Kerkez, Zabanyi, Ouattara and Semenyo quite recently, and still did v well last season, so who knows. ✌

Tbh, I don't see anything special in this Rayan kid. Or it could just be that I haven't watched enuff of him. But at 130m? Bonkers for a guy who has only played 6 months to a season at B'mouth.
Seriously, I'm starting to wonder what Sadio Mane would have gone for at Southampton when we signed him as our record signing with the types of fees these players who are nowhere near his level at the time, are going for right now.

Bournemouth are fine with SCR? There are no issues there for them at all.
With Scott not signing a new contract, he's the most likely player out the door, even if it's for a compromise/reduced fee. Kroupi has been pushing for an exit as well. There's been rumours about him not trying hard enough in training etc., so there are two sellable assets ahead of Rayan.
Rayan has been there for 7 months and played 15 games for them in total.
There's no way Liverpool are going to go in for him on that alone. Bournemouth can drag it out and wait until his rumoured release clause (apparently around £130m) becomes active in January. It just feels like it's a lazy rumour. People see Iraola appointed as Liverpool manager and start looking at which of his former players we could sign.

They sold all those players and replaced them but that doesn't mean that their new manager will accept or sanction selling them, especially since they are in Europe this season. There's no pressure on them to sell at all.

Call me crazy, but is there a chance that our scouts knew about Rayan before he went to Bournemouth? Maybe we've seen he has continued his pre 6 months at Bournemouth form and the club know he has a good chance to succeed here. I know it's a crazy idea that one of the biggest clubs in the world have scouted a player and aren't planning to spend 10s of millions of pounds on 6 months worth of scouting or evidence.
I also doubt it would be 100 mill or over to get him anyway.

Let's be honest, for the level Rayan is at now, he should be a 40-50mn player. But the market has gone crazy, and there seem to be no quality wingers around in particular. The price is more reflective of the situation than the player himself, I feel. Needless to say, I will support him fully if we do sign him though.
