They just signed a 30-year-old Dumfries who only had a year left on his contract for close to £20m; they'll want at least £60-70m for Trent, and that's if they're being reasonable about it.

Trent whining in the media today (BBC lapping up every word) about "abuse" from Liverpool fans. That man strung Liverpool fans along while knowing he was going to Madrid, and in doing so lined the pockets of himself and his family at the expense of the club.
On a personal level, fair enough, but he should never be welcome back in a red shirt - you stay at Madrid as your career fizzles out from what it was.

Only way Trent comes back is if he pays the transfer fee himself out of his huge signing on fee, ensuring LFC got minimal in exchange for him.
