Everyone on here including me can see we have needed and still need a defensive midfielder. Why then are we not at least giving Endo the chance to play in his preferred position? The club bought him to do that role for Klopp's team and when given the chance I believe he did well!
We still need another like minded player but we spat least use what we have at our disposal.

Endo played sensationally for Klopp in his first season. Then Slot came in, and he never played him, and limited him to a handful of appearances. I feel sorry for the guy, I'd be giving him a run if the club seems unwilling to purchase a DM.

If you go by what the media is saying, we won't be recruiting in midfield, which is annoying.
Come January, if Iraola has not gotten a tune out of any combination of our midfielders, we have to get someone else in.
I'm sure he can get them playing marginally better - we won the bloody league not so long ago, but I still think we need players with defensive instincts along with the ability to progress the ball by passing.
Ironically, if Slot had stayed, we may have gotten that player.

A DM is not the answer. Listen to Andoni.
Rodri is the modern day CM. Very few top teams use a destroyer anymore.

Endo's not the answer, a proper DM with a pair of b******* would be nice, but I don't see the club making a serious move for one.

Sorry, Endo has never played sensationally for Liverpool.
Not digging Endo out as he had some good games that first season.
