First time posting here, although I've been following this page for a long time. Really appreciate everyone who runs the page and contributes here.

That being said, I honestly find some of the fans here pretty funny. Some people just love complaining about literally everything. I don't remember Liverpool fans being this toxic before. One bad result and suddenly everything is rubbish.

Szoboszlai was one of our best players last season, and now people are calling him garbage and saying we should sell him. What a joke ?

And people are already complaining about Ireola after 4–5 official games. Seriously? Give the guy a chance.

We're a big club, yes, and we should have high standards. But then the fans should also act like it. You can't constantly demand that players live up to the badge while throwing them under the bus every time something goes wrong. Support the players, support the team and give them some positive energy.

Criticism is fine, but some of you need to chill. Football doesn't work like FIFA where you can just sell a player after a few bad games and buy someone else.

If you want to complain about every little thing after 4–5 games, maybe stick with FIFA Online so you can enjoy your "football"

Out of interest, who's calling Szoboszlai garbage? If it's on Chat, that's just normal banter, with folk letting off steam. I've been known to do it myself, particularly when it involved Nunez.

If you're expecting cotton wool clouds, and sweetness and light, I think you're coming on the wrong site, Kotk.

I expect professional footballers to not pass the ball off the pitch when the teammate they are trying to pass to is 10 yards away. That is a very low expectation which for some reason some players couldn't meet today including Szoboszlai. This does not make him a garbage footballer but he was garbage today along with most of the others.

{Ed025's Note - it was very poor RW..

Sound. I'll pay my money and watch the dross and be happy that the club has spent hundreds of millions of pounds and not addressed the glaring issues in the squad. Feel much better now, thanks ?.

Dom is not a great *midfielder. He can be aa very good player but as I said before the window even opened. We needed two midfielders. I do not rate dom or grav as the type of central midfielders we need or that are good enough.

Dom may certainly improve but I think his future is on the right or in a midfield 3 and on the right.

Without sounding like a know it all, annoying git, which I know I can be, I've said all along that a change of Head Coach wouldn't fix everything, like a lot on here thought would be the case.

I reckon there will be a load more results like today, before the season is over. I hope we go strong in the week, cus I suspect the Carabao is our best chance of silverware.

I'd drop wirtz and play grav, dom and macca.

Trey Nyoni better get his cape ready. This is going to be a long season.

Fulham needed a point, a lot more than we did.
There's a lot of factors why we are not consistent with results in the league.

I'm sure the players were relieved to get that 1st game win in the CL against Atletico.
They will believe they can go far in Europe this season.
The league is a different animal, it's a tough nut to crack. You need to hit the ground running.
This team and manager are still finding their feet.

And therein lies the problem FPF. That when all our MF's are having a mare besides Macca(who everyone wanted gone)who hasn't exactly been great either, the next best and go to option is a teenager who's played little more than a half hour of Premier League football. At least if he doesn't come in and sort it out we have McConnell waiting in the wings.

Always going to be bumps in the road. early doors and first time playing 3 games in a week under Iraola. Was never going to be smooth sailing but I saw enough Wednesday night to know we're in safe hands and heading in the right direction.

Rome wasn't built in a day, keep the faith lads! Still unbeaten ☺️ yes should be beating Fulham at home, but if you can't win it's a good habit to get into not losing at least.

Wirtz presses and offers that bit more over szobo or gravenberch. At the minute the latter two just jog around aimlessly, no situational awareness, no smart presses or runs. Their inability to hold the midfield means the wingers and wirtz are dropping even deeper leaving isak isolated, while offering nothing going forward from the midfield.

We're lucky jaquets looks a rolls Royce of a player, if that was konate back there today, we'd have been beaten at home by a poor Fulham side.

Iraola's needs time, it is not going to just click straight away, and it is clear there are some players completely ill-suited to the system. We need to give him time, and temper our expectations a little.

Anybody who watched that and thinks dropping Wirtz but keeping Gravenberch is a good idea needs their head checked. Wirtz had a poor game, but so did everyone else. We reverted to slotball and paid the price. Grav and Kostas were just dreadful though, regardless of anyone else.

Grav is the one I'd drop. I thought Dom and Nyoni looked good together in preseason.
