EDs, Thoughts on Gravs performance and positioning last night?
Found that a hard watch, that first half was some terrible football from us.
Felt like Grav was trying to play CF and just left massive gaps for trey and mac to cover which they couldn't.
{Ed001's Note - before shifting to right-back, he was very lazy in his play. No tracking back, no working to cover, he was just looking for the glory runs and doing none of the hard work covering back. He played well at right-back though.}

Can't hurt to have another RB option with Brad and Frimpong out!

It looks like he hasn't either got the game intelligence or desire to play a more disciplined game. Strange how he's better at RB, but perhaps he can fill in there when needed until we reinforce.

Desire. He was well intelligent enough the do it in 24/25.

Forget him at right back. Their last goal was his fault. He was in no man's land and too lazy to get over even though he'd clearly seen the scorer in acres of space.

Ed, I literally did not know Grav was playing. He was that bad in that first half.

@Florian Musiala: He's playing a totally different position. He played as a 6 back then - like Fabinho in his prime. He had a simple job that was easy to understand. He's lost as an 8 - we've watched him for years being lost in that position. Iraola is a noob to LFC.
We play a stupid double-pivot now - two 8s - like Man Utd. It leaves our defence exposed and shipping goals is guaranteed. I don't like it, but I'm not the manager.
I hope we do well, but I don't see it working so long as we play this ridiculous formation. It misuses the midfield players we have.
