Two fun games to watch weren’t they. Enjoyed watching some of the kids play. The lack of fear playing in front of a packed anfield for first time was great to see.
Some work still to be done defensively but nothing too dramatic and going forwards we looked very good.
Special shouts to Elliott, Rio, Stephenson (minus the header) and Dom, Gakpo. Mama though plenty of others played well.
Another rollercoaster ahead so strap in and enjoy the ups and downs folks….

Standouts for me were Ngumoha in the first game and Szoboszlai in the second. What a shift Dom put in. Ran the show from that deep lying position.
