He came on at HT the other night against Egypt and looked very good. Looked a Kante-style midfielder, as I wouldn't say he's a DM, more of a mobile ball winner. Never seen him play at club level though and 45 minutes against Egypt's bang average midfield is not a great barometer. He was so quick to snuff out counter attacks though, so he's the type of profile we need in midfield from the limited minutes I have seen of him.
We do concede loads of chances from counter attacks. He's more of what we need than Mac Allister is right now. Macca is too slow to stop the counter attacks without taking a yellow card.

Agree MK - offers more than Macca. He gets about the pitch and is very good on the ball. He's been linked to us for 18 months now. Was surprised he didn't get a move away from Monaco in the summer.

I keep forgetting that this is just a rumors site, and that most of the people posting here — even those claiming inside connections — probably don't actually know anything, with all due respect. First Slot is supposedly getting sacked, then Semenyo "wants us, " then Guehi "wants us. " It all feels like speculation rather than real, reliable information.
{Ed001's Note - we know Guehi wanted to join us, he was having a medical on deadline day in the summer when Palace pulled the plug, so not sure why you included that.}

Jari, I don't see us signing a player like Sadiki whilst Slot is in charge. He is an actual DM. Which many will agree with you is what we lack, but Slot is not one of those who agrees.
Camara on the other hand, might actually be the sort of player Slot would utilise. FPF, have you seen him play for Monaco before? Does he standout at club level?

Ed001, to be fair I've only watched Sadiki against us where we dominated in terms of possession and territory so maybe he doesn't normally play that deep. He did seem to be more of the sitter though in that game to give Xhaka and Le Fee the freedom to be more expressive.
{Ed001's Note - he gets forward a lot mate, usually Xhaka sits so he can roam around.}
