I've heard that both Thiago Alcantara and Adam Lallana, were sounded out at various points this season, to see if they were interested in joining the coaching staff, no idea if it was intended for this season or future, any truth in this?

Milly is still playing, mate, so almost no chance he'll join our coaching team. At the rate he's going, it'll be about 10 more years before he finally decides to retire. ;)

I like the idea of Lallana! He was a very gifted player. Tragic with his injuries. I always thought he was one or two passes ahead of Milner and Henderson. He read the game wonderfully well. I think he would have been better with higher-level players around him.
I love Henderson and Milner, by the way. No-nonsense midfielders. But if Lallana, Gerrard and Xabi were a midfield 3, ooooo hello. Now, if he could be half a decent coach by getting that into players, then happy days.
