Romano is the epitome of a "tap-in merchant". His MO is very predictable. He harps on the most obvious story for days on end, making it seem like he's giving blow-by-blow updates and dramatises everything to get everyone hyped. And when it finally happens, he says something like he reported the story two weeks ago or something like that, to make it seem like he broke the story first, when in actual fact he just said it the loudest.
He used to be a respectable and decent football journalist but ever since he gained popularity, he is now nothing more than an influencer with a catchphrase.
