So, Wataru Endo is out of the World Cup.
I really feel for the lad. He was fighting to get back in time to at least have a final positive send off in what has been a nothing season for him, but a setback in recovery means he will not captain the Japanese national team. Last World Cup, too. That really sucks, man.
