Evening all hope everyone is well.

Look I know we will be linked with everyone during and after this world Cup but has anyone being watching the young Crotian centre half Gvardiol only 20 big unit, strong, fast and composed on the ball has the makings of a great player and possibly a replacement for Maltip or hate to say VVD (in a few years) . I know we are in need of midfield reinforcements but I feel this lad is definitely worth taking a look at be interested to know Ed2 insight into the player.

Well just going on the last 100 mins against Belgium we should be trying to see if we can turn Leipzigs head with a solid offer this lad is going to be absolute class if he was English and just put in that performance you'd be hearing nothing but he's going to be the best centre half in the world so personally I think we should be looking at him seriously as his value is just going to soar and soar.

Unless Matip and Phillips or even Gomez move on, don't see us going for him. The priority will be for midfield. But he is a cracking player.

He is a Liverpool fan too. Sad he is going to other club. Probably Chelsea. Could have been great future partner for Konate.

Quansah and Van Den Berg both have a chance over the next couple of years. In Quansahs case if other clubs had a starting England centrehalf on a Euro's winning side coming through they'd be a lot more excited than L'Pool fans, suppose we love a shiny new signing instead?.

There are more Andre Wisdom’s out there than Jamie Carragher’s. The odds are not in club developed players favour. That it’s just a harsh reality.

As it is, Gvardiol is very far ahead of both of those two and is only a year older than Quansah but a bit younger than van den Berg.

Quansah has had injuries issues that have held him back. that's not to say he is going to go onto be a world beater - VVVV is sadly right about how many academy players make it.
