Rhys Williams is reportedly being recalled from Blackpool as cover until van Dijk is back.

I like Nat, but it's clear he has no first team role at the club. Better off with the money.

This happens every single transfer window, then we put a daft price tag on his head that no one wants to pay or block his move at the last minute. Poor lad will be locked back in the basement again come February. We did the same thing with Origi until he eventually left on a free.

i always thought he lacked a bit of pace to be really top class.

Thought Phillips would have made a good 4th choice CB option with Matip being injured regularly and no spring chicken. Deserves the chance to play regularly elsewhere though. Hope we don’t hold him back further by asking for silly money. He’s what 25, 26 now? Needs to move on.
