Not football related but as we're one family on here I thought I'd give an update on my personal situation work wise.

I posted back in March the bad news regarding my job, was made redundant - Devastated.

Well, I was offered a few jobs in London ( good pay ) but didn't want to re locate and miss out on seeing my little man Toby Thomas grow up, this was not an option for me.

So, after a lot of soul searching and discussions with my beloved, I've decided to set up my own business to which I've had a decent start. Financially there are tough, challenging times ahead but I think I've made the right decision - so if I could have some crossed fingers and toes, it might just work 🙏

Glad it's worked out for you mate, I've had an uncertain year workwise too, the Mrs has been through the ringer worrying about the mortgage etc.

I've just started training in my new position which includes me paying for hotels during the week for the next 3 months or so, financially challenging but it's got to be done.

Glad it's working out for you coz I've had the same panicking feelings but also can't show the worry to the wife and kid.

Good luck mate, I really hope it works out for you. A very close friend of mine did the same thing a few years back and he's in a really good position now.
