Morning ed1 grwat result and performance last night for us.
Who do u start sunday, trent or bradley? Can't see starting midfield being any different to last nite so if trent to get in it will have to be rb.

Klopp hinted that Bradley and Gomez have played a lot of games recently so the old guard may return. Whoever ends up in left and right back, its great that we can be confident of no difference in quality.

I said it a few weeks ago when this topic was brought up. Gomez and Bradley are playing out of their minds right now and the team is playing well as a group high on confidence barring injuries, the group that battered those bums from The Shed, should start at the Emirates, IMO. I mean, imagine Trent and Robbo coming off the bench in that game. Insane stuff.

To me Gomez has earnt his place so should keep it. Particularly vs arsenal as he is better defensively vs saka he will cut in onto his strong foot.

I'd keep playing the team as it is, Bradley been excellent but Gomez has been in great form for most of the season. left back/ right back not let us down. now there is no rush to bring the injured players back. What a luxury to have.

Robbo has been out so long I think he will need a bit longer to get fully up to speed so Gomez should stay.

You can't drop Bradley after his performances. If Trent is to come back in it will have to be in midfield but it would he harsh to drop any of the midfielders after the dominant performance last night.

Gomez is an easy decision right now. He is absolutely flying it right now and starts.

I can't quite believe we are having a genuine Bradley/ Arnold conversation. That's how good Bradley has been and he is getting better with every game.

I'm not sure of the answer but whether it be for Bradley or someone else Arnold has to start the game for me. There will be periods where Arsenal come at us. It's a must win for them. Trent's distribution I think is the answer to break them. Trent-nunez combo will win this game in my opinion.

sounds like a political answer to prepare for Bradley and Gomez to be dropped. Gomez is a rhythm player and should keep playing until his form turns for the worse. feel the same about Bradley.

My only concern is, I know Robbo more so than Trent will be rusty coming back from injury but last night we was flying, you would think them two coming off the bench seeing how we have played why they have been out they would of come on full guns blazing but the intensity dropped so much so they scored - I would be keeping out strongest side against arsenal of Joe and Connor then introducing the other two back in the next couple of games.

When KDB came back, think he was given half an hour, didn’t he get MOM for that half an hour he made that big of an impact - that’s what I would of expected - can’t give you rock and roll for a full game but can do it for 30 minutes.

Nothing showed me when they came on that said look what I did coming on that will improve the starting team come the weekend.

Agreed with all this, said similar myself a few weeks ago about Gomez at LB, we just look more solid. This isn't about slagging off Robertson, who has been fantastic for us, but he is 29 so won't be around forever and at this point JG looks like he could be the medium term replacement.

Would agree with most of above comments, I'd start bradley and gomez against arsenal. the only reason I can see for not starting brafley is that he has played quite a number of games in short space of time having only returned from injury himself. We don't want to get into another bajectic situation where we probably over played him and he has ended up missing an awful lot of football. Although bradley showing no signs of fatigue whereas bajectic was cramping up 2wards end of games.

Great performance. Probably the best of the season so far.

As everyone else has said, Conor Bradley is a player! He's not just filled in but he's excelled.

Against Arsenal, I would be inclined to start Gomez at LB as he did really well against Saka in the last two meetings. Robbo can be eased in over the next month. However, as good as Bradley has been, against Arsenal there could be a case for Trent to come back in. In the last 3 meetings with Arsenal (2 meetings this season and the home game last season), Trent has been THE standout player. With the way the front 3 seem to be playing at the moment and Arsenal's need to take the game to us, Trent's long passes could be vital on Sunday.

Cup game against arsenal Trent started and Bradley came on, martinelli couldn’t get past him. Trent was pinging balls everywhere also. I’d play them both and see what happens.

I think you definitely keep Gomez where he is.

I think this is a classic case of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Fitness concerns aside, Gomez and Bradley are working. I wouldn't disrupt that until necessary.

That is absolutely not a shot at TAA or Robbo, but consistency is a big thing and you don't want to disrupt a team that is on a roll. That doesn't mean they will be starting at the end of the season, but at least as long as they are on a roll.
