I was thinking of a special charity match between Liverpool and Wolves with all players wearing No. 20 and all proceeds going to Rute and the kids, or after special account for their education or something.
It's kind of crazy feeling so heartbroken for so long over someone I never met in person, but I just can't get Diogo out of my head and can't stop being emotional!

Sounds like a very good idea Noski and one that many people would be happy to be part of. I also get what you mean about being heartbroken but never have met him. It cuts me up every time I think about his wife and kids and what they are going through, especially because he sounds like such an amazing husband, dad, brother and friend to so many people. I know most people speak well of someone when their time has gone but I've never heard so many speak so well about one man before. That says so such and makes me even more sad.

It's a pity that the rules probably won't allow all our lads to wear no. 20 and their lads to all wear no. 18 (his number at Wolves) when we meet in the league.

Maybe an annual pre-season game against Wolves with the winner taking home a cup or shield named after Diogo? Take turns in hosting the game?
