I hope they bring Isak in slowly 10-15 here and there for the first 2-3 games.
Don't need an injury and not have available.

I think his first start might actually be in the Carabao Cup against Southampton. No chance he starts at Burnley and very little chance against Atletico or Everton, but he could definitely do 60 minutes in the CC.

Everton is the last game Isak should be starting. Tarkovski likely to kick seven shades out of him, or Pickford the Hatchet will go for any 50/ 50 with two feet off the ground.

Managed 18 the other night so could do 30 against Burnley and maybe the same vs Athletico then let him start vs Everton and see if he can manage an hour.

Isak's availability has been pretty good the last 2 seasons. Only Mo, VVD and Grav played more minutes than him in he league than our entire squad and played over 80% of their league cup campaign.
Ekitike has yet to complete 90 mins in 4 appearances for us so its going to be great to have him start the games and Isak come on in place to build his match fitness and sharpness.

Arne just said that we didn’t just buy him for the next two or three weeks but for the next six years I don’t think there is a rush to bring either Isak or Leoni in until they are ready.

He will be fine to start mate he’s been training deep in the Russian mountains like in Rocky 3. Expect him to score bag fulls of goals right from the off.
