Keep seeing posts from people who appear to be ITK saying Slot is safe for now. How on earth is that the case? The team is imploding. The tactics, style of play, performances and results are atrocious, the players are now turning on him and he flat out refuses to change.
After the game he said " at 3-2 up we didn't need to score again but to control the game". How has he not learned that in this league you always need to score again. Its a joke. The board are now being negligent in my opinion . If they think this is salvageable they are sorely mistaken.

I don't think he's wrong. The problem is that these days we have no idea how to control a game or to keep our heads when things are going wrong. Which on one level is understandable given how low confidence is and how badly things have gone against us for the last two months, we could be 4-0 up at half time and it would still be a toss up whether we can survive the rest of the game.

Because other than Carra the rest of the “ITK” have got nothing right, they literally repeat each others posts or put stuff on here to get attention which is clearly BS.
How can anyone know 15 mins after a game “slot is safe” then the Mo interview and Dom interview hits and he’s “on thin ice” an hour later. It’s all posturing and nonsense, the only ITK I will listen to is Carra as he’s go way more right than any of the rest of these people with sources…. Funny how they all came out the wood work at the sad passing of Ed2.

He has changed it.
Salah didn't play and Szob has moved further forward. Mac was left out for Jones. Ekitike started and Isak didn't.
We just don't have the players where we really need them.

I read that as well and that's unacceptable at this level of the game. To hold on to a one goal lead and not try to score at all or out pressure in the other team is just asking for trouble.
We don't need to score but we at least need a threat. Removing all our attackers and leaving Isak isolated up front was poor. And they scored from that passivity as well.

I think Rigsby makes a fair point, I think we were cruising to a win, Slot set the team up to eke out a win and control the game and Dom, Hugo and Jones all played very well. We collapsed after conceding a completely needless penalty late on and then the manager and the players all lost their heads. It's bizarre because we should never lose from that position, it's not like the team was set up poorly or the lineup was wrong, we just don't know how to cope with adversity anymore. That and the fact that we are probably the worst team in Europe defending set pieces.
David Lynch makes a great point in his video about how set piece training isn't Slot's responsibility, but that it could be the set piece balance that costs him his job (among other things of course) . We have conceded 10 goals from set pieces, that is almost half the goals we have shipped so far this season.

You can’t say set piece training is not slots responsibility it’s ALL his responsibility. If it’s not worked during 3-4 games do you think he should pay attention to it?

How can set piece training not be part of the head coaches responsibility or remit. He might not do it personally but he oversees and allows it to be delivered in the way it is. It’s in his gift to change it, if not there’s something fundamentally wrong with the set up at the club.
Selection, substitutions, playing style etc are all with Arne, as is developing the right mentality in the group so he is accountable for creating a lot of the problems we’re seeing and not resolving them.
Rigsby is definitely right though our bench options are poor. They have been for years, it’s just that Jurgen could get a bit more blood out of a stone than anyone else could have done so it got papered over.

But its a bit to late to change players round. to differentpositions, . they are devoid of allconfidence. Under Klopp all the players felt appreciated, now they are terrified to play their natural game.
