What the fook was that Chelsea? Embarrassing to say the least. Poch will be sacked soon. That was truelly pathetic from a 1billion pound spend, enzo and palmer are the only decent players, the rest are absolute crap…. what's happened to Caicedo? City look tired you ask me and may struggle to keep any kind of pace up in their remaining games. Arsenal are always good for a shock result, so potentially we could still win the league. HOWEVER, not playing this dull boring Lijndersball we are stuck on. JK needs to say, let's go back to heavy metal football. Pick the players who are fittest in their position and run run run till the wheels fall off. As if at the end of the season City and Arsenal have dropped points in a couple of their games and we have had 6 games with 3 goals in them as we are playing this awful slow football we will not be having a happy end of season party. Wake up JK, let's have the good old heavy metal back for the last 6 games!

If things start going awry in a few hours do not fear I shall post a negative comment with half hour to go and we will win, it always happens, its like putting on my lucky socks.
As regard to the team today I just wonder weather we may see a couple of changes. United's back like is made of poppadoms at the moment. 4 senior CB out and they will be guarded by the ever reliable for a booking Casemiro . I really like what Curtis Jones has done this season in midfield, and in the last few games Zob, as amazing as he has been for us so far, has looked just a touch off his usual self. So a midfield 3 of Mac Endo and Jones would be a good shout for me. As far as a front 3, this may sound a little crazy but I think Elliott should start. I would bench Nunez and put Elliott up front with Mo and Luchio. Harvey is a bundle of energy and will absolutely dog that back line of theirs and he's always good for a few decent strikes on target . Defensively Robbo back at left back and I would go with Bradley over Gomez, who has been amazing this season, at RB but I feel this is a game where we just need to go and score a hatful and Bradley is more of a threat going foward. Its going to be a cracker for sure . I won't say we are going to win 1-6 but we may just.

The narrative that Arsenal can’t score goals and City only won titles when they’re not chasing isn’t exactly going according to the script.
Whilst this title chase might be great for the neutral irs probably not that way for us LFC fans especially as we don’t like to do anything easy.
As much as it’s in our hands I’d be far more comfortable if Arsenal and City now start dropping points.
But before that we have to Overcome an awful Utd side that unexplainably have beaten and held us to a draw this season.
I'd love us to put this one to bed inside the first 20 mins but the likelihood is we'll be on pins with 20 mins to go.
Time to set our marker in the sand and put the ball back in Arsenal and City's court.

Nunez did the lot. Worked really hard and then was really indecisive. His passing was really off too. I am really starting to miss Jota even more now. But even though I am depressed at the moment, the point could be quite vital in the end. But it is back to depending on others! A goal difference of 9 is too steep to cover over 7 games.

I think the key word in there is indecisive. I noticed it in the Sheff Utd game. Until the subs came on, we didn’t seem decisive enough in the final 3rd - which meant we didn’t put them away and had to work very hard for what should have been a routine win.
Still, we are in with a big shout of the title with 7 games to go - after last season, i’d have taken that last August.

We threw that game away collectively and all by our own selves. People scapegoating this or that player is pathetic. I could scapegoat Quansah for being too casual and relaxed BUT I won't do that cos he was guilty of every single thing our forwards esp. our reliable ones in Salah, Nunez and Diaz were guilty of. Hence, scapegoating is irrelevant to me. WE threw that game away, and not HE threw that game away.

It worked again! Every time Liverpool are pegged back in a game and I've posted a negative comment on here they have gone on to score almost immediately after. Its like wearing a pair of lucky socks, im going to keep doing it should we be playing poorly on Sunday. This is the weirdest superstition I've heard off but it works!

These owners have. given us an extension to Anfield in the main stand stand and Anfield Road end making it one of the best stadiums in world football. Given us a new training facility which is one of the best in world football . Given us one of the best managers we have ever had. Given us one of the best teams we have ever had. Won every trophy there is aside from EL all whilst sticking to financial rules others have simply flaunted . But because they don't spend money like a certain Daddy Shiek or American tycoon they are bad owners? What a load of tosh. Its ok as when the rules change and we can spend what we want without fear of a points deduction and they get fed up with clueless unfreatful fans calling for them to leave they will sell up to who ever from which ever oil rich country wants the club and your wish will be granted, rest assured any trophy won on the back of reckless spending and rule breaking isn't worth the cabinet space.

97 people went to a publicly organised event and never got to go home, either the same as when they left or at all. Justice has not been served. Their memory will live on forever but there has been no justice . Special mention to the Forest fans, who never flinched, never panicked and are always so supportive. They had to witness that horror and could do nothing to help. Will forever be greatful to their fans and the club. JFT97.

OilRed. it is completely true. Read what it says, faultless in the run in. The Palace game is not of any significance. That game was not in the run in which begins on Sunday. In previous seasons they have been near perfect in the last 12 games of the season. That is fact look at the stats. They simply do not loose and almost certainly win. Liverpool need a draw and 11 wins from their last 12 games as thats, at the very least, what City will get.
