Hi ed1

Is trent Alexander Arnold available this summer? If so, would you go for him. what a strange world.

{Ed001's Note - they don't have a head coach yet, so I doubt that a final decision has been made yet, Arbeloa certainly won't be making these decisions.

No, I wouldn't bring him back.}

We don't want him back!

24 Jan 2026 11:21:56
Come on guys - Trent would and should walk back into this team.

24 Jan 2026 11:40:24
No chance i want him back. Who knows he might be learning German and can do one over there.

24 Jan 2026 11:41:14
I don't see how that would be possible. Trent made a gamble and he has to work hard to try and turn things around.

24 Jan 2026 11:53:24
There's more chance to Klopp and Ljinders coming back than Trent returning. That is how unlikely it is.

24 Jan 2026 12:11:00
He will end up at chelsea.

"We don't want him back"

Speaking for everyone?

24 Jan 2026 12:52:20
He decided to leave for his dream club. No, I wouldn't pay a penny for an academy player who did everything he could to get that move OUT of our club.
Move on.

24 Jan 2026 12:10:34
ED01, can I ask you, why would you not want him back at the club? Your own reason.

{Ed001's Note - injury prone and I would rsther the club moved on with a different style with attacking fullbacks getting down the wings.}

24 Jan 2026 14:03:42
he'd definitely walk back into the team as from the stats i've seen we hardly run anymore.

24 Jan 2026 14:34:05
I could see Trent going to Serie A. It would suit him well the slower pace and he can ping balls all over the place without having to worry about going against top tier wingers. My wife is available for Italian lessons. Trent if you're reading ?.

Frimpong sure runs barakdee. Like lightning down the right and has started to clock up the assists since he returned from injury. I'd bet over a season he'd get about the same as Trent, just in a different way. No to trent for me, played a lot as a youngster and the injures are coming now.

Thanks ED01. I'd like him back but maybe my vision is tinted by the Klopp days with him and Robbo scaring the opposition to death. I do see what you are saying though.

I'll take a leaf from Mark Carney and decide the Old World Order is no more and look brightly to the future! God willing. Cheers for the reply. Enjoy the game one and all!
