I think if they were going to sack slot this week they would have done it by now. Obviously not ITK but I reckon he gets the champions league game and Newcastle Saturday. Failure in either will surely be the end.!

But what if its a bit windy during those games?
26 Jan 2026 14:24:15
He's here for another week by the looks of it.
26 Jan 2026 14:59:30
We say the same every week ??
he's un-sackable.
26 Jan 2026 15:25:50
I should of added at least.
26 Jan 2026 16:48:23
If we lose either game it will be because the players are tired and the wind caused an unfair bias.
I see a win against Qarabag and a draw against Newcastle tbh, it might be the City game where he gets pumped.

Wind, Low block, extra travel less time, injuries - there are many excuses waiting to be rolled out.
26 Jan 2026 16:52:48
I still think he's going. The silence is deafening. Isn't he due to do a presser for the CL game tomorrow. Let's see if he turns up for that.
26 Jan 2026 17:25:47
It's farcical to say the least. How can his future depend on beating Qarabag at home? We would win with me in the dugout.
26 Jan 2026 18:40:50
Qarabag aren't the whipping boys they used to be. Sure, under normal circumstances we should win comfortably but this isn't normal circumstances. Who would have thought we would get turned over like we did against PSV and on our own turf?
26 Jan 2026 18:53:49
So, the general opinion was that something is going to change very soon ………. and then it didn't? I we are now in a 'wash, rinse, repeat cycle? I guess it passes the time and is comforting for those of us with an obsessive compulsive nature.
I'm guessing we win the CL tie and then draw the Newcastle match and the cycle begins again next Monday.
26 Jan 2026 22:36:31
You don't have to be an ITK to post here mate, most of us just pretend to be one.
You're right with that though. I think he'll get the city game as they won't want a new manager to have to have that a game as their first game.
26 Jan 2026 23:07:28
We may actually get a win against Newcastle as they will try to play a bit. The worry is their midfield is stronger than ours, but let's hope for two wins this week to lift the gloom.
27 Jan 2026 05:16:26
@Hugo, it won't lift the gloom, it will just annoy people who want Slot out asap.
