Jacquet looks a great prospect and will surely help us next season. We could do with 1 or 2 now though. Only a few hours left. Does anybody know if we are trying to get anyone else in. Appreciate it might not happen but just wondered if any of the ITKs had any knowledge of anything else today or attempts being made today.

According to Datamb (who do lots of football stats), the two strongest u20 defenders in aerial duels are Leoni and Jacquet across europes top leagues, so that's a positive.
{Ed025's Note - some players just fit a club and some dont VV, its always a bit of a gamble mate but on the face of it they both seem to be really good prospects, but for every Andy Robertson there is always a Naby Keita i suppose..

It tells us 2 things.
We've obviously sacked this season off and all eyes are on next season.
There's still money to burn, they're still spending big, and no concern for finishing in the champions league places or not.

Yes, it really looks like we've sacked off this season doesn't it. I mean 4th round of the FA Cup, knock-out stages of the Champion's League and mathematically can't even get in the top 4 never mind the title.
Do people who comment on here take this negativity to the match? smh.

Cafu, how does it not make sense? Quansah wasn't good enuff so we let him go further his career somewhere else. Isn't that the same ruthlessness people were crying out for? Leoni and Jacquet are worth the outlay, per the club and that's it. That's how all of this works.
Also, to get the top young CB's (esp. cos CB's are at a premium currently), you're going to have to pay top money to get them. And that is what we did. All we have to do is hope the pan out cos at the end of the day, all transfers are a risk regardless of cost.
