I'm in my 60s and watched Liverpool since the early 70s I can honestly say this is the worst and most frustrating season I have ever known.
We have had some poor teams and seen worse football but the talent in this squad and the performances and results are unacceptable.
To me a good manager gets more from the players he has, this manager has made everyone in the squad worse, that for me is the epitome of a bad manager.
It's obvious to a blind man the players are lost playing for him, you cannot keep blaming individual players for mistakes/ poor performances when they are all making them. It's clear he has lost them.
I hate to see managers sacked but for the good of the club it must be done if we can save something from the season.
Arne is a good guy and done a good job last season and I would he would be remembered we'll, but a change is desperately needed.

VVD, Kerkez, Salah, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Isak were all in the Premier League team of the season for last season 24-25.
They have obviously downed tools as they have no respect or love for Slot and his methods, they are Professionals they know a Charlatan when they see one! e. g. currently the best midfielder in the Prem has played more games at RB than midfield, that is the decision of a coach who is clearly lacking in football acumen!

You then have another Clown called Edwards who has never worn a pair of football boots in his life making football decisions? all the above could not run a Bath never mind a football team.
Jurgen has run this club all by himself since the FIRST day he was first appointed, basically LFC is now a Clowns show! on and off the field.
If our two games this season against man cheaty had of been in the UCL we would have lost with a 5-1 aggregate, only for the reserve goalie saving a pen at the emptyhad, and citys third goal today chalked off that would/ could have been a 7-1 score over two games.
The difference in standards is vast, man cheaty also had a midweek game, LFC had Eight days of rest to prepare for today as well.
Amorim is my first choice, did Alonso get sacked for player power as well makes you wonder will the same happen at LFC also. Amorim has turned man United around in nearly 13/ 14 months, they were in a bigger mess than LFC is now, the players are there sadly they need a manager and not a coach.

Frode, Slot will inevitably be sacked and I will lose no sleep over it. However, players have to be accountable as well. I'm not 100% convinced that Alonso will be the silver bullet that we're all hoping he will be, but, I'll say it before anyone else does, we won't know till he gets a chance.
And Biggun, you're right, how can anyone forget the title having waited 35 years to see it.

I'm not saying Alonso is the "silver bullet" but Slot has to go regardless of who comes in. He's damning this team. You can spout individual errors all you want, I saw Alisson make errors during Klopp's tenure so what's your point. Take the rose tinted specs off and note that individual errors collated over a long period of time falls on the manager. This faux moral high ground you're on hinders the club further.
Yes we won the league last season but we're in this season now and we're sixth, closer to 12th than 1st.

The entire set up seems entirely confused and requires serious and critical changes. and I'd agree with Rome and include the playing squad as well. They are surely aware they are both personally and collectively far below what they're capable of.
For the money spent on Wirtz I have expected much more because the cost. I saying that I go along with their opinion that he'll excel overall but we need more than what he's doing. Strengthen up and stop overthinking it.
