I know the general thought is because hughes and edwards handpicked Slot they will back him regardless.
If we take this season in isolation I get it, but he won the league last season so even if they sacked him it's still got be a success right? Not many thought we'd win it last season, and I know I'd have taken Slot if I knew we'd have won last season even if it meant he'd be sacked the season after.
My question is I know from reading other posts Ed you believe that will continue to back him because they chose him.
But surely it's still a success even if they sack him, do you think they will back him even if we don't get champs league next season?

Thanks Ed I assumed as much, unless he wins CL then it would be hard to argue.
It's difficult because if top 5 is starting to look unlikely you'd think they'd try something but if we're in the CL I couldn't see them changing with the chance we could win that. Appreciate the response!

How much longer can we risk not making top 5 before we make the change to give us a chance. Only 5 league wins since September for a top 4 club is simply not good enough.
Slot won the league last year but since February last year Slot has been awful and this season he is just breaking records that the club never wants breaking.
I can't believe John W Henry has not stepped in by now and said this is not good enough and we need a change.
I don't know how much money it will cost us not making champions league next year and how it will impact our top targets who will all want to play champions league football.

how p*ssed off are you about how this season is shaping up Ed? What started off with such hope has gone to sh*t, although looking at those first 5 matches we didn't look right and were lucky to get as many points as we did.

Apologies ed001, it was more based on your opinion and what you would do.
We are 6th in the table which, for this squad, is extremely disappointing. I would have removed Slot before Christmas and let Hughes/ Edwards go as well for shear incompetence.
Slot was brought in as he plays a brand of football similar to Klopp? I'm not seeing that at all and haven't done since the second half of last season.
{Ed001's Note - he was chosen in large part because he would not require a huge turnover in playing staff to make a squad for him. This summer shows they got that wrong. He has no intention of using anyone outside of his small bunch, unless it is desperation. There is so much that is wrong and I can't see us making top 5 this season, and I would expect that to mean he moves on in the summer.}
