Keeping Arne Slot in the dugout after this catastrophic run isn't just a "wait-and-see" approach it's total negligence and a slap in the face to every fan who pays for a ticket.
The board's silence is becoming an insult. Here is why the "Slot Out" calls are now undeniable:
Relegation-Level Form: We are witnessing one of the worst Premier League title defences in history. Slot has managed just 24 points from his last 20 games that is relegation form.
Tactical "Playground Chaos": Despite a massive summer splurge on stars like Florian Wirtz, our defensive organisation is a disaster. Fans are forced to watch "turgid" football that has stripped away our identity.
Total Disregard for Fans: To hear Slot reportedly suggest his playing style is more important than winning trophies is tone-deaf. After losing to City, we are now sixth in the table and sliding.
The Alonso Factor: Refusing to act while Xabi Alonso is reportedly interested is a betrayal of club ambition.
The hierarchy might be backing their man for now, but they are alienating the fans.

The fans got rid of rogers by not showing up to a match if memory serves. Only way the owners took notice.

It's like my Nan always said
A beautiful woman is like a shed Roof
Make sure you Nail it proper, or It'll end up Next Door.

I don't recall that supporters didn't turn up, aoe. Maybe other posters will remember. There may have been games when they left before the end.

That's a good way of putting it lfc8 ??.

I still went to games during the Hodgson and Brendan eras but the crowd just become increasingly despondent where the atmosphere was either mute or full of venom. It's going that way with Slot, the fans in the ground are sick of it at points.

It was a cup game i believe. Although I could just have easily have dreamt it to be honest ? ed1 and his memory would probably remember.

I'm sure you were there Frode when the Kop sang Hodgson for England. It was a midweek game against Wolves, who were bottom, and we lost. Like you say, with Rodgers, I remember the atmosphere being flat.

Slot will be head coach until one of 2 things happen:
1) We can no longer qualify for the CL
2) It's the end of the season.
Alonso now rumoured to knock us back for a second time if he hasn't already done that.

With Houllier, it wasn't moaning its was just flat, the same with Rodgers really but Hodgson the fans were openly hostile. if my memory serves me right.

I remember it being the same, Strom.

That's not a bad shout Ron, otherwise why would we persist with the same old same old.
I've posted on here a few times that Slot will be here until the end of his contract, at least, even if we don't qualify for the CL.
They will give him this season as a fall off was probably anticipated, although not as bad as it has turned out. Then next season expectations will be much higher, as the additions, injuries etc. will not be an issue. I reall y don't think the club will sack him.

He only has one more season on his contract so it's make or break this season.
If he doesn't get CL qualification then I can't see him coming back for his last season UNLESS the club feel there is no viable option to replace him this summer.
There's usually some managerial rotation after the World Cup.
