Ed001, it's understandable if you don't do a review of this match. I'm sure there would be too much swearing to edit out anyway. This is depressing, really.
{Ed001's Note - I will still do it I think. I need to watch that again to get my head round it.}

you aren't really considering watching that again are you Ed? don't do that to yourself

I thought midweek game was rock bottom but today was so bad it was killing me inside. This can't go on surely ed001. Someone in charge must think enough is enough
{Ed001's Note - I would hope so because that is the worst side I have ever seen in the Prem that just drew with us.}

You'll have to create a Liverpool S&M page to post it on Ed

Don't watch that again, it's torturing yourself twice.
15 Mar 2026 20:05:10
Why review an episode of the same crap you've seen all season?
Not sure it's worth it, Ed but good luck rewatching that ship show.

I will save you the hassle. We used to play football in the opposition's half, now we are content on sitting on a 1-0 and passing the ball around the back. All well and good if you're a confident team with some sort of structure. Conceding as many late goals as we have would tell you that isn't the case, so why continue to do it? The players aren't focused enough because they are being asked to play this slow, passed, mundane football, which means the intensity isn't there.
Raise the intensity and the players will have more focus on what they are actually meant to be doing.
One of the easiest games we will have all season, against a team missing so many players, devoid of any idea and extremely low on confidence, and we blew it. Embarrassing.

Oh, you surely wouldn't put yourself through the agony of watching that game again.
Summary:
Slow, boring play with no end product.
Gomes getting bullied all over the pitch and out of position for about 95 minutes.
Robbo can't run, pass or jump for a header.
Ekitike came on for a leisurely stroll and even he couldn't be arsed watching the game.
Macca runs through the centre of the pitch, gets crowded out after turning down the opportunity to pass several times, and then falls over and stays down like he has been harpooned.
Jones - see Macca above (I think we have found a way to clone).
Gakpo - surprisingly did a lot of tracking back, but spent most of the game out of position, so we had nobody in the box. I think they forgot to tell him he was playing the No 9 today.
Szob - absolutely wasted at right back, badly out of position for the equaliser, and really doesn't have the defensive instincts to be playing RB.
Virg - dominated the aerial threat but allowed the player to breeze past him, taking two touches and a slide pass along the way as he just watched on.
Rio and Frimpong were decent, and we faded massively once they came off.

Don't do it to yourself Ed.it's not worth it!

Ed01 you're a strong man indeed to watch that again.
15 Mar 2026 20:44:29
Watching it once was bad enough.

Wow Ed I can't believe you'd want to put yourself through watching that again. It was painful. You're better off sticking needles in your eyes. Much less torture. When you do watch it again, can you tell me if I'm correct in that the players have now developed the habit of stepping back and expecting others to attack a ball, that they should be going for, which in turn leads to neither attacking it and the opposition getting chances as a result.
