It's been a disastrous season and without change, I just can't see it getting any better.
After spending so much money, how can our bench be so weak compared to Brightons?
Why sell Diaz without bringing someone else in or not utilising Rio more?
How many times could we have done with Morton or Elliott rather than Slot playing the same players constantly?
Letting Quansah go when we could have done with him too to fill the squad.
We've been really unfortunate with Isak but how injury prone is Bradley for such a young lad and Alison for a GK?
Yes Slot is to blame for a lot but so are those that looked at our squad depth and thought it was good enough for a long season.

In fairness, most people wanted Harvey gone last summer. Most, even now, would say it was the right move. Morton was behind Endo, who everybody loves, in the pecking order. Nyoni too, and he was probably 6th or 7th choice mf. The squad is ok, numbers-wise, two for every position.
But, as far as talent goes, most teams we play against have deeper benches than us. We do have 7 players out injured as well at the moment, with Ekitike, who picked up a horrible challenge off Milner's booty, added to that. Talk about a big tart.

FM Milner's challenge was not "horrible," and is an illustration of that fight that our midfield is missing. It looks muscular for Ekitike, and hopefully, he will be fit and firing in a few days' time.

Bigh, Slot never used Morton and only used Elliott for 10 minute cameos. He barely uses Chiesa and Endo now. He has his favourites and, if youre not one of them, youll never get a decent amount of game time.
