We won number 20 last year to equal United, and they finished near the bottom of the league. We spent 400+m on players in the summer and now United are closer to getting number 21 than we are... and slot is expected to keep his job. Somebody explain this to me.

We look like they did last year, Faith, and they put effort into games, not just waltzing through them like we do... They won't win the league next season, but they have more of a chance than we do. That's how bad we are.

Faith, they are. As they're higher up the league and playing better football. Every day that Slot is here increases that fact.

Faith has a point re: Utd. They are still poor in games not vs the Big 6. I have watched them vs Leeds and Brentford, both at home, and they got absolutely smoked, without a paddle, in terms of actual play in both games.
You don't need to be a world beating team to embarrass these lot. All you have to be is a very competent team with a clear plan and mode of operation, and they chase shadows.
Them beating us is not the flex they think it is. We are in the Earth's crust so them being above ground is not that great. We will see what happens for both teams next season, with hopefully, new manager for us.
