Mo Salah won't be taking any lectures from a man that spits at children.

Carragher loves the sound of his own voice. There wouldn't have been any complaints if he was sacked after that disgusting incident.
Mo will be remembered for all the right reasons.

19 May 2026 07:21:17
Not one pundit that I've seen has come out and said that Mo has done it for the fans. Obviously, he said it to have a dig at Slot, but he knows this is the voice for the fans.

19 May 2026 07:02:40
His face when it popped up 94% in favour of Salah will forever haunt that spitting idiot.

19 May 2026 07:41:46
If FSG had any sense in this situation, they'd get rid of the 3 who have caused the problem: Slot, Hughes and Edwards. The last two have been a disaster for LFC as they appointed Slot.

19 May 2026 08:28:05
Carra sold his soul to Sky, and is now their puppet and says what he is made to say. Secondly he won't have anyone being tipped above Gerrard so wants to muddy Salahs rep as much as he can. Sad really.

19 May 2026 08:43:35
Bars, WD40!! The guy is so tone deaf and clearly self-awareness is not his strong suit. What a bozo.

Salah lives rent free in his head and you clearly see how giddy he gets when it is time for him to slate Salah. Again, an absolute bozo.

And the fact that 94% in the poll was Chef's kiss.

19 May 2026 08:48:54
Comedy gold.

19 May 2026 08:53:06
I used to have to rewrite Spitty's column. He's a quente.

19 May 2026 09:19:59
Salah has acted like a petulant child, we'd be laughing if this was Saka about Arteta and saying how much of a shambles Arsenal are.

Carragher was right in his assessment. Carragher is also disgusting for spitting at people driving. These 2 statements aren't mutually exclusive.

19 May 2026 09:50:40
Whatever, Phil.

19 May 2026 10:01:32
Correct, Phil Babbs Nut. Posters only bring up the spitting incident to somehow undermine what Carragher has said, as if it has no relevance. As you said, the 2 statements aren't mutually exclusive.

I'm also pretty sure Gerrard isn't that insecure that he needs Carragher to muddy the waters in case someone suggests Salah is a better player. Some immature stuff being posted lately.

19 May 2026 10:42:58
I don't need to bring up the spitting incident to know that Carragher is an ignorant buffoon. He was a very limited player and he's an even worse analyst. I have zero interest in any single thing he says. I support every word of Salah's statement both recently and his statement from last year.

I'd have him at our club for another 10 years if possible. His own personal standards are higher than anyone else's at the club and he is a role model for them all to follow. If they did so, we'd be far better off than where we currently are.

19 May 2026 11:15:51
Carra is actually one of the better analysts. He was a player that didn't rely on pace, much like Klopp, who relied on his judgement when to go narrow, wide, get close, drop off, when to wrestle the striker, when to just leave them alone.

Many of the pundits and analysts say how much knowledge he imparts on them.

People being upset he's calling out poor player behaviour is getting in the way of their ability to judge his analysis.

As I said, if this was any other club having their players run the club (cough cough Madrid) we'd all be laughing.

Fergie got rid of players who he saw felt were getting too big for their boots, and it sustained his success.

Carra is a muppet, the Kate cheating joke, the spitting, among things. He's a good analyst and pundit though, and he's consistent in his views and doesn't contradict himself much.

19 May 2026 11:27:42
Shankly,
So you would advocate all players coming out to vent their displeasure on social media then, if you are using Salah as a role model?

Again, Salah is a Liverpool superstar and legend forever, but it still doesn't mean he has free reign to say what he wants when he wants, in my opinion.

19 May 2026 12:36:40
It's amusing that so many people with no interest in Carragher keep responding to his comments. He was a footballer of limited ability who relied on 'heart' rather than skill. He is a poor summariser / pundit. End of story.

19 May 2026 13:49:51
Sorry, West Derby, but he certainly wasn't limited, his actual ability to read the game was far greater than many cb's who relied on pace. Klopp was somewhat similar by his own admission. He's a great pundit, don't let your love for Salah cloud your judgement of Carra.
