Some job Emery has done. Not a flash in the pan, they've replaced Spurs in the Big 6. Improved current players, bought well, and this trophy puts them back on the map as a big club considering their history. They might just look at how weak the current title winners are and see this transfer window as a great chance to launch a serious challenge.

Massive feelings of regret, TCS, when you see the great scenes at the end.
I know no club has a devine right to win trophies, but our absolutely shocking league campaign and totally insipid cup displays brings it home, what a wasted season it's been with the squad we have.
It'll be same again next season as well.
If the talk of Slot staying is correct.

I wasn't surprised at all. EL is what Emery does. That's just a fact of life at this point. Always had a soft spot for Villa since the Tony Moorely (spelling) days and was chuffed when they won the CL back then, as well.
Hats of to them, Emery, the players (big up, Harvey), and the fans. They deserve it, and frankly, I agree. Spurs should be nowhere near the top 6. Villa has well and truly settled into that position, imo.
