Personally don't see it as homophobic as it was said in jest and I would assume with no malice intended, some of the best comedians straddle that line of risky social topics as a career, however, in the same breathe people are fully entitled to say if they find something risky or in bad taste without being labelled as PC or 'woke'.
Online forums and social media can be a cesspit of abuse, and it's important that we also self moderate what we put out there.

Rio, let's get forensic if you want. What Barry said wasn't homophobic, he just made reference to a party where a 30 something year old man was found dead, in a pool, with the most horrific injuries to parts of his body.
Some of the posts that followed were questionably homophobic, though I wasn't in the least offended. It's up to the Eds to censure. I just gain enjoyment by stirring things.

The fact is I know gay people that would've been offended by the original post but that doesn't necessarily make it offensive.
I mean, how arrogant and self centred do you have to be to expect to go through life without ever being offended? Just live your life the way you want to live it.

Darren, I have a brilliant sense of humour, mate, which I often share on here. I'm modest it with it as well. Humour is such a subjective thing. You found the "steel plate" line funny, personally, I didn't. Neither was I offended.
Now I'm on a roll, I hate woke boll*cks, non-binary, pro-nouns etc, which doesn't fit well as a union rep. However, as Rupert Lowe says "I don't care". But, as Ed01 says, that remark was borderline at least.
Also, back on a football theme, our own club as banned the "Chelsea rent boys" song. It's the world in which we live. Folk should be more respectful when posters challenge things, and not labelled Mary Whitehouse, woke and lacking in humour.
Now, for the very last time, let's get back to football. I haven't slagged off Nunez for a few days.
