Hi Eds, I am not usually one to panic and try to be balanced as much as possible.
So I apologise in advance if I am sounding like I am panicking, I just wanted to ask, should we be worried about the lack of transfer activity? Is the real reason for the lack of activities because of the amount of money FSG wasted last season on Wirtz, Isak and Frimpong?
{Ed001's Note - is this a serious question? We have 16 non-homegrown players IIRC, so we need to get rid of some to make space or we are limited to homegrown players, as Barcola will take a non-HG speck.}

I hadn't realised this was such an issue. I wonder then if this is complicating our transfer business. Makes more sense why Konsa or Acheampong are on the list for hybrid rb/cb. We really do need to prioritise this position, assuming Barcola is signed, sealed and delivered.

Hi Ed, yeah it was a serious question. Sorry, I didn't realise all that homegrown stuff was still an issue because the rhetoric on here over the last few weeks was the transfer was done but PSG were keeping it a secret for some reason. Thanks for your insight and good work.
Would Konsa and Qansah be serious options amin defence then as they are both HG? That is a serious question too, sorry in advance
{Ed001's Note - I only see a portion of the posts and they were mostly discussing the HG stuff earlier, so I obviously just caught a snippet rather than saw what was all over the site. Konsa and Quansah are under consideration purely because of the HG thing. Otherwise neither would be a serious option. As short term fillers until Jacquet and Leoni etc gain experience, I can see the reasoning, but neither would be my choice. I would rather use a kid, at least they won't strut around like Quansah thinking he is Beckenbauer 2.0+.}

Ed so do you think the youngsters are ready to start in the PL mate week in week out?
{Ed001's Note - no but neither is Quansah, he was a liability. At least a kid might grow into the role.}

I get what you are saying Ed and all good when youngsters come through. I'm just worried it's looking like Virgil is going to have to play nearly every game along side midfielders or teenagers. It's worrying mate

I like Chambers the most right now, Ed001. He seems the most refined technically and mentally. Shame he's only 5ft11, but that never stopped the likes of Puyol, Cannavaro, Baresi from being some of the best ever. And we don't need Chambers to be the best, we'd probably just need him to get us through to October.
