I know Carra had Hughes locked up in a shed in his back garden. I believe he used all sorts of techniques to extract his info.
VG has big Henry on speed dial. He usually gets those lips flapping by feeding him all kinds of beverages.
Robbo uses the ninja approach. Usually hiding out in lfc offices, private planes eavesdropping on important conversations.
Fields charms all the wives of key figures at Liverpool and gets his information that way.
But the rest I haven't a clue how they get their info.

My guess is the people making those claims are either:
a) chancing a guess based on Akliouche now being completed for PSG
b) attention seeking
c) a wind up merchant
