{Ed0666's Note - I honestly dont see the problem with Minteh Ron. He works tremendously hard, he has explosive pace, can beat a man every quality we are seeking in a winger. The issue for me is he’s not available for two to three months which should have put us off from the get go. I wouldn’t be opposed going back in for him in January and getting a stop gap/loan for the right hand side until then.

If the rumoured fees are accurate, then 100% walk away, decent player but paying that much for an injured player is lunacy. I could understand if he had been our No 1 target all along, but we had all summer before he got injured and never budged, so move on.
Personally, I would go for Rayan or nobody right now. Keep Gakpo, use Munoz over there and revisit in Jan. Not convinced by Mbaye!
{Ed0666's Note - I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said up until Rayan. We cannot rely on Frimpong to be our right sided creator and auxiliary wing back until January. We’ll be relegated in December. We need a right winger.

I'd agree with ed666 I think minteh would be v good addition to team/squad. Works his socks off and we need a couple of those 1st and foremost. Good ability and I think he 1 who could really thrive at a big club like lfc. Isak best form came with a not dissimilar player in murphy on Newcastles right side.
Injury is the big worry though. I think we bidding for him now as we afraid he may have a real top season for Brighton and his price goes into the £100m + category
{Ed0666's Note - I don’t think his price will increase that drastically Digger he won’t be playing for a few months. By the time he gets fully fit it will be close to another transfer window and we can assess the situation then.
