Wake up Eds, got a rumour needing your opinion on please.
Hearing that the Elliot to Villa contract has a clause in it that allows us to talk to Morgan Rogers in Jan and to meet the asking price. This is on the proviso that he wants Liverpool.

Thanks Ed for saying that. Morgan Rogers doesn't make sense unless Slot wanted to try him in the double pivot replacing McAllister (assuming he goes to Real Madrid), which IMO doesn't his strenghts.
{Ed001's Note - he is a goalscoring midfielder, not a deep lying one, it would make no sense to play him deep. Even if Macca is gone it makes no sense.}

If we’re looking at any kids next surely has to Wharton of Palace next summer. Although I’m thoroughly happy with what we have.

Rogers can play across the 3 in a 4-2-3-1.
He’s played most of his games off the left, almost double the games there than other positions.
I think he’d be a great signing for us.

Hi Ed001. Hope you’re well. Reading above about Elliot, I understood the deal to be a loan with an obligation to buy. By cancelling the loan - at anytime or last minute - does that then mean Villa have no obligation to buy? Hope that makes some sort of sense.
