Supposedly breaking mo won’t be in the squad for inter or Brighton!
If true I think that’s him done and an awful end to his brilliant career with us and I’d be gutted it ends that way as he’s given us years of joy.

I’ve not heard anything but this is devastating.
Regardless of the last couple of days, he’s a club legend.
I’d like to believe things will get resolved and a departure whilst likely at the end of the season, won’t be in bad blood.
The club does have to make a stand though, nobody is bigger than our club.

The only place I can find anyone even suggesting this is unreliable sources on social media, and they're only suggesting it is a possibility, haven't seen anyone actually make the claim.

What a mess this is, feels worse than the Bodgers era, we didn’t have our star players turning against the club in interviews back then, and let’s be honest the results are some of the worst in the clubs history.

Mo asking for the team to be built around him last season, with players he knew and in a set up that we knew worked for him is one thing, but since the changes, he also has to change and can't expect everyone to dance to his beat.
Jamie Carra's article about Salah only talking when its about him was spot on, and whilst i appreciate that elite sportspeople are required to be narcissistic to a point, the whole contract issue told us plemty about the man.
{Ed001's Note - Carragher is full of crap. Salah is not narcissistic, he just doesn't like talking to the media as things get twisted and he does not trust them. So he won't talk about other people, because he does not want to say the wrong thing and cause them an issue. He talks about himself only because he is then not adversely affecting someone else by mistake. People are making up nonsense in their head because they know nothing about him.}

{Ed001's Note - I think people are forgetting he is using his second language when he speaks as well. Some of the things in the interview I think he has meant it in a different way, but got his words mixed up. Or as me nan used to say, worms mixed up.}

That's what I was thinking too Ed. Although it has to be said that he speaks excellent English. I still feel that he is referring to his position in the squad as a leader rather than as a winger and that he feels insulted Slot doesn't take him as a leader seriously.
What I believe happened is that the senior players confronted Slot again after the loss to PSV to revert tactics to what worked during the AV and RM game but he dismissed them, leading to a fall out between them, and Salah being benched. That's the only thing that makes sense to me now and I am slowly convincing myself that it's true.
