Ed 1 - Times report that City will make a big push for Guehi in the summer .
I know you said your pretty confident he’d still chose us but do you think this will harden our resolve to get it over the line in January and not chance leaving it to the summer window?

We really need 2 cbs in Jan but we certainly have to get 1 in. Guehi I think will be trickier in Jan than most people seem to think I'm not sure palace will let him go considering position they in league and also good chance in europe.

If its a non starter with Guehi hopefully we move on quickly, right now we only have VVD and Konate as senior centre backs available.

I think the Guehi outcome will ultimately be determined by the winner of Glasner v Parish. Parish doesn't want to lose his prize asset for free but Glasner doesn't want to lose his captain. I suspect it might come down to the ability of Palace to sign a Glasner approved replacement.

Sounds like Glasner has officially told Palace that he will not be renewing his deal. Not sure whether that has any influence.

If I was Parish or Glassner or anybody else at Palace, I’d hang onto Guehi like a limpet. From their point of view he is their captain, a natural leader by the sounds of it and is leading Palace to one of their best seasons ever.
The further they go in Europe and the higher up the PL they finish the prize money should comfortably exceed what they would get for him in January. I’m not convinced it’s a done deal on January 1st.

I think it's just rumors - there's no way liv would be selling wirtz after such a short time
plus he's also been improving recently, there is no good reason to sell him as of now.
