It's beyond a joke. I'm at a loss to understand why Ngumoha and Jones didn't come on at all tonight. If I were Ekitike I'd be getting frustrated and hoping Slot Foxtrot Oscars soon, the lad needs service, and he's getting Jack from Salah and Gakpo. Gakpo even came on ahead of Ngumoha when there's clearly something seriously wrong with his hand/arm.
And don't get me started on Konate who's gone back to being Bambi on crack.
Any caretaker for what's left of this disastrous season will do. 14 defeats the season. SMH.

The decision to stick with him to the end of the season (which I pray to god is accurate) is in of itself cowardly. Slot should have gone in November and most could see it then, if not before. I know he's not a good manager per say but I cannot believe for a second that Gerrard would do any worse as interim until the summer.
As a fan there is no way he would accept that type of football or performance, even if he doesn't lose, lose with some f****** pride! All Klopp's work being undone in 18 months. Awful.

At a loss to think that anyone would want things to continue like this with Slot given another season.
The results haven't been great, but the performances have been even worse - at times when we've won we have been awful & it's been like this for over a year, so it's not player turn over in summer.
Such pedestrian & uninspiring football and LFC and the supporters who pay good money at the ground deserve better.
Thank you Arne for the tweaks you made at the start of your tenure which took players Klopp left & turned them into title winners, but now this is fully your system & "tactics" it's simply not working & you seem unwilling or unable to change so it's time to go.
A new manager bounce would hopefully propel us to a CL spot & will also give new guy a while to get his feet under table in summer effected by players zipping off for WC.

Hopefully it doesn't take too long for any new manager to completely uncoach everything Slot has programmed in to the players.
My worry is not just about the damage Slot's coaching has done but also his controlled decline of fitness.
Hughes should 100% follow Slot out the door.

Thats it SG84EVA, nothing like Slots programming to give these players a free pass into next season. i can see it now, Ibou does an Ibou on Xmas Eve and it'll be poor Arnes fault while he's off managing some other club.

Florian, the reason Slot won the league was apparently the programming Klopp set in place, said so by Slot himself, it works both ways.
Hopefully Ibou will be doing an Ibou at Madrid or PSG or Bayern or whatever club he seems to be holding out for.

Another game where we lose 'without conceding any chances'. I hate those non-chance scoring teams. It's just not fair. Everyone should be like us and have non-scoring chances. Awful.

Over the course of a season, what transpires on the football pitch is the result of squad management. An odd game here and there is generally down to the players not performing on the day. Over 50+ games, it's generally down to the manager and his vision of what he wants. This is all on Arne. There is zero debate about it.

It's gonna take a new coach and his staff a while to cure the Slot rot that has infected the squad. The longer it's left to fester, the tougher it will be to put right. He should have gone months ago, and that would have given the new regime time to assess the squad and go about fixing the problems, like the lack of fitness and lazy attitude, ready for the start of the new season.
If Slot's position will only be reviewed at the end of the season, so should Hughes' and Edwards' tenure likewise.

I honestly don't understand how Salah gets a game? Was this agreed on his comeback from AFCON? Or just because he spits his dummy out whenever he's subbed off, half-time you struggle to know he's on the pitch.
