John Henry is reportedly unhappy with Liverpool manager Arne Slot, sending a warning message that Fenway Sports Group (FSG) will not tolerate "mediocrity".Following a disappointing string of performances—which included 18 losses across all competitions and a loss to Manchester United—Henry addressed the team's struggles. Key details include:

No chocolate Hobnobs available at half-time to dunk in tea.

Arne's whole demeanour and behaviour is of someone who accepts mediocrity. The same can be said of those above him and around him on the sporting side, including a number of the new players. The board cannot just absolve themselves from this, though, and fire off meaningless messages with one game left in the season.
They all set the standards and the culture, and they've completely let it drift this season.
As you see with Man Utd, it can become really ingrained unless the leadership off the pitch is engaged and any drift is dealt with swiftly. A succession of managers and coaches aren't necessarily the answer if the whole sporting set up is failing.

FSG have shown they accept mediocrity as Slot is still in the job, more US bullsh*t and posturing.

This is really surprising to me, in terms of FSG's delayed or non-reaction to what's been happening. Usually, they're quicker to move on contentious issues, although we all know they're very methodical and procedural in their approach.
My guess is that the main culprit is Edwards.
He must have provided assurances that things will turn around and they must have believed him. There's no denying they have a lot of faith in him, given bringing him back with such a bigger (and original) responsibility.

John Henry can join the end of the queue of who is unhappy with Arne Slot.

The Fenway Sports Group (FSG) "will not tolerate mediocrity" quote was directed at the outgoing management team at the Boston Red Sox.
They won the "World Series" in 2018, and since then have spent seven years not even getting close to repeating the feat. FSG took seven years to act and were clearly, in my view, guilty of tolerating mediocrity for all of that time.
So the irony of the quote is not lost on me.
I want Slot gone. He is dragging Liverpool back to the bad old days of Hodgson & Rogers. Edwards and Hughes are complicit and should go too.
All too late IMHO, as it seems that everything Jurgen built has been dismantled.

I was saying this when Klopp left to the lads at work, Clay.
Klopp left, and quite a lot more movement has happened with personnel in other positions at the club over the last couple of years.
It takes a special recipe to win a Premier League title. When you replace these people, it isn't guaranteed that it will come together and get results like it did under Klopp.
I was, and still am, seeing huge red flags. I fully believe Slot's Premier League win was primarily down to it being a Klopp team he was working with and John Heitinga's input.
Happy to be proven wrong by Slot, but my confidence in him is shot to pieces.

So do something about JWH...

Snoots, fully agree with you there. This, unfortunately, Slot's style is never going to work in the league or Europe, and probably never will. How he got the job in the first place is still crazy in my opinion... If fans think this season has been bad, just wait for next season.
If teams around us improve, we will become a mid table team. He must go now. Also, why would players like Diomande and Barcola want to play for a terrible man manager and coach, so he can ruin them too. No chance we get them.

So, going in at half time, it's currently wild eyed, crass, generalisations, witch hunt 1, common sense and rational thought nil.

This is one that isn't gonna go to penalties WDW.
Overwhelming result inbound.
