Couple of extra bits I've heard.
Neto isn't an option for LFC, info is Alonso doesn't fancy him, apparently.
Zabaryni also not of interest to us, idea is to cover a RB and CB with one signing.
Konsa would be a good fit but is older than we normally buy.

Happy not to have Neto. The wrong kind of f*** selfish for me. Anyone can run forward, u see him running back very often.

Wouldn't be sold on Konza myself, but at his age, it provides options while the young lads Jacquet and Leoni get acclimated to the Prem.
Buying one player that can play both right-sided CB and RB to a decent standard is hard to come by.
We have one in Gomez, but his issue is availability.

Gomez plays both positions to a decent standard, but he isn't top top notch in either. That's disappointing news for me if true. We need another CB and a RB.

Agreed, the perfect option imo.
Wharton, Ordonez and Barcola would be a great final few signings to complete the squad imo.
Only concern for me after that is a backup CF while Eki is out, Danns getting fit would be nice.
El Mala is still a possible option according to Carra, but do we have the funds for all of these? I doubt it.

Hi, not been on here for a long time but the lad we signed from Salford striker is highly thought of, Wright. Only 19, quick, good finisher, liked by Slot and the new boss, but let's see in America.

Players we bring in don't have to be world class. Players need to add to the squad based upon their capability to improve the squad in the way that the head coach wants the team / squad to play. Or, in the case of, say, Diomande Barcola, Rayan Ad, perhaps Wharton can bring in terms of potential in terms of football skills and character / personality in terms of building squad spirit.
As an aside, I'm not sure about Wharton but I'm not privy to the information or assessments of players that the club have, or the cake that the club places on potential signings. Just putting forward a view because it sometimes seems that it's do or die with anything but the best in the world being dismissed out of hand.
