The price is ok for Curtis. Although in many respects he hadn't fulfilled his promise with us, good luck to him, it's also quite a proud moment to see a local guy get a move to Inter. They're still one of the giants of European football.

It's a fair price and a good deal all round, but I guarantee in 1 year his value will have at least doubled.
Inter and the Italian league feel like the best possible destination for him. Good luck to the lad.

I do agree with the principle of your post, TCS, but in this instance, we have Nyoni ready to step up into Curtis's shoes.
Curtis played a total of 2,850 mins last season (all competitions), and a chunk of that was due to Szob at RB. Trey got 1,125 mins across all comps, and we have him and McConnel able to cover Curtis's mins.
