The latest thing I got is Mbaye still prefers to play at Anfield over Villa. We'll see about it.

It's clear, if we wanted Mbaye we would have signed him. Villa paid the price we didn't want, and that's fine by me.
As much as I want our RW saga to be over, you'd have to admit that Mbaye is a young option with limited experience, and, akin to our Rio, I would argue that we need more experience for our starting 11 and should be looking at players in their early to mid 20s.

If I can remember, PSG would have accepted a deal for around EUR45m from the German clubs, but included a buyback fee if he does well. We didn't want that buyback clause in a deal, so I guess rightly so PSG demanded a higher fee, because they would lose control of a player of huge potential.
Be interesting to see what Villa's deal is? Is it effectively a round about loan if he does well.

I think we wanted buy one, get one free, but Richard Hughes forgot to send PSG his transfer clubcard to get the deal. He did manage to get 4 litres of Dr Pepper Zero and an 18-pack of Beef Monster Munch, though.

be ours, which suggests that we've moved on.
People are sleeping on Munoz who is going to make himself a starter, and before anyone says he's a lefty, he looked good on Sunday from the right. LFC don't rush targets, they wait for the desired quality regardless of the value.

think Minteh will happen and that he will
be a resounding success as he will work
