Congratulations to everyone who called Barcola to Liverpool 'done' in June, only took 8 weeks to announce it...

I understand Liverpool did tell PSG they would move on to other targets and that got matters moving.

I got the wrong end of the stick on Minteh. Too much excitement going on, and missed a key point.

It wasn't done and there's no chance of going back. Sorry for the wrong info.

I'm told, however, Liverpool have no interest in Camara. People have put 2 and 2 together and got 5. Liverpool reps are in Monaco for the CL draw but some associate that with Camara.

You didn't "get the wrong end of the stick" with Minteh, or Barcola, you were just flat out wrong about all of it. We didn't walk away from Barcola, we were at the table the entire time, and we never even came to an agreement on a fee for Minteh, never mind schedule a medical. You couldn't have been wider of the mark, and now you've extra egg on your face because you came in here with a bad attitude, having a go at people whilst demanding respect from those who came before you and earned it the right way.

I tried to warn you not to start a competition with trusted posters, not to have a go at them, to be humble with your info and not to go around claiming, "Everything you've said is 100% correct" – all completely reasonable suggestions that would have helped, but you completely ignored them. Next time you try and assert yourself on a community, try reading the room.

The Barcola deal will be announced officially via the LFC Channel exclusively. It will not be in the public domain for one and all, Twitter, X, etc.

They are making subscribers like me their first port of call, rather than any Tom, Dick and Harry who don't pay anything to the LFC Channel.

Every signing in the past has been done like this, since the LFC Channel first opened its doors to paying subscribers!

So the fastest Player in the league sprinted past Kerkez to score. Now Kerkez is terrible and countless comments say we need a new LB. The despair I feel by how dumb some of our fans are is turely depressing. Taking a break from the site until we win some matches, maybe the Trolls will vanish. Take care all.

I agree the overreaction is a bit much. But Kerkez should have done more, he should have held Elanga up well before he became a threat. If his situational awareness was on point, he could have dealt with it better. There was no physical challenge on Elanga. Kerkez tried to outrun him when he should have been outmuscling him.

tbh, the best thing he could have done was to just foul him early and give away a free kick inside Newcastle's own half, sure, he woud have got booked, but you couldn't call it a goalscoring opportunity that early in the play, so he would have stayed on the pitch and we wouldn't have conceeded.

Bloke was just outpaced by a flyer. We shouldn't have been as open, but Newcastle exploited it well. Kerkez was certainly not the most to blame for that goal.

Could not agree more, Barber. Sometimes other teams and other players will get the better of us. It's part of the game. I can't make people out. Most people hated the dull football delivered last season. This season we go on the front foot and not people complain we cannot defend. Go and watch Arsenal.

You could blame Grav, Szobo, Van Dyke and Ali as much as Kerkez for that goal. It was a total mess. As for Kerkez, he probably should have committed a foul and taken a yellow card early on in the move.

Far better players than Kerkez have been beaten by pace and skill. But next time he faces Elanga at Anfield, I think we will see a different story.

I can confirm that Barcola is done but the what you don't know is his younger brother Ronny Diet Barcola is also signing, and although he is only 9, he is the better player.


Minteh will not be signing because he got a little fresh with my wife at a barbeque after his physical. Also, he's quite annoying, talked all afternoon about The Great British Sowing Bee, he's obsessed.

Anyway, more ITK from the horses mouth coming soon.
