I don't think this team challenges for the title this season, the way I see it we get to March next year then we start seeing the true value if the players and system we have, we will make a push for top 4 at the end of the season but we will need to sort of write this season off due to the number of changes made. Its just one of those things, it's part of transformation and building for the future.

This post is purely for me to get things out of my head as these sleepless nights are getting to me.
I have faith in Slots vision of how he thought the team would play and fit together and he will get it working!
As fans we need to not get caught up in the moment or the crap that is spoken by the so called experts. These experts who never took the chance to be a manager/ coach and only say stuff to get more clicks and likes.
The team,
Some have mentioned that we look so much more open than we were last season, I don't agree on that, towards the end of last season one simple ball would see us with in trouble. There is certainly a change in how we played the start of last season to this one, we were a lot tighter and not scoring many goals. Currently we seem to be very open and lacking goals and more importantly not creating the quantity of chances we should really be doing.
Players do need time to develop understanding, and this only comes with time and playing games together. And I don't think we are far off,
Just a couple of points!
Stop all our midfielders rushing forward, one must sit always. Holding that area in between the defence and midfield.
Both fullbacks pushing on, it just needs one of the to look across and see where the other one is, where the ball is, where the space is for attacking and defending. Don't just run forward because you have been told to do so.
There is always the possibility that with a fast winger and a decent pass will undo us, but you can't cover all the space, especially if you want to score goals. Unlike Burnley the over week.
Line up
Centre backs - So sad for Leoni, I am sure he would be starting over Konate now. Gomez once he gets a run of games, he is very solid just can he stay fit and not have the brain farts until he is up to speed.
Right back - Bradley is the one for more, just needs that bit of direction of when to go forward and where to run.
Left back - Kerkez for now, a bit the same as Bradley, needs to learn when to go and sit. Of course, he needs to time to learn how the players in front of him plays.
Midfield - Grav, Dom and Wirtz and sit Wirtz behind the 9
Forwards - When all fit Ekitike Isak, Mo
I am sure Slot will read this and instantly see where things are going wrong ha ha As I said purely for me to get my thoughts out.
One final thought,
Of all the transfers that have happened over the summer I wouldn't swap ours, have faith all will come good! :)

Another sad part of Giovanni's injury is he has now lost a full season's education by learning, training and playing alongside the current best in the business VVD.

ACL surgery has improved vastly over the last few years with key-hole surgery and collagen matrices to heal quicker, plus his young age quickens your recovery. ACLs are classed depending on the severity of the tear Grade 1 is stretched ligament (Mild), Grade 3 is a complete tear (Severe), we all hope he has Grade 1, as he has excellent potential.

Rodri sustained his ACL last september and was back in may this year 8 months out, VVD did his october 20 to back july 21 nine months out, a month is a big improvement?

I'm more concerned about Slot and his tactics. Felt like last year he was doing a "I'll make do with what I have, and do the best strategy for the players", now it feels like he's shifted to "Now i have my own players I want to force my vision".
As the whole system just looks off, no control, defence everywhere, even long standing players are getting caught out. Press is next to non existent. So I'm more worried that he's pushing a system that isn't working.
