Upper stand not being opened/ finished till end of 2023 I blame FSG.

They’re probably looking for a contractor to finish it for £5 an hour.

Rename it to Keita Stand (never available)

Difficult to blame FSG if main contractor goes bust.

Kemlynkat if that is the case then, John Henry and his billionaire bros. need to get their shovels, sledgehammers and hard hats on and get to work ASAP.

Nonsense! It’s an Hangover from building The main stand and because we didn’t sign a DM.

That purple third kit isn’t helping either.

Can’t blame them for this season’s recruitment, what’s next? The stand.

Is it really that difficult to pick out a contractor that won't go bankrupt, if you do your proper due diligence and not just go for the lowest bidder for the project?

If it's just a matter of bad luck then why aren't more contractors going bust all the time? . The laws of probability (and luck) are clearly 50/ 50. Yet we don't see one out of two contractors going belly up, do we?

12.) 12 Oct 2023
12 Oct 2023 21:50:50
Can you explain that in a bit more detail please ArAy?

13.) 12 Oct 2023
12 Oct 2023 22:41:29
Buckingham Group going bankrupt was not a foreseeable thing from customers like LFC. They were actually well placed to complete only for some utter incompetence and a very trivial matter to actually cause the whole company to come crashing down.

Maybe the company doing the Everton stadium could do it at weekends as a "foreigner"!

It's a little bit more complicated than building something out of Lego ArAy.

{Ed025's Note - yeah but not as hard as Meccano flash, now that was really difficult mate..

I see we’ve moved on from being experts in football transfer and economics to being experts in construction and project management.

Eds-surely there’s the expertise on these forums to turn this site into some kind of multi-trillion dollar enterprise.

Faith, did you miss the part where some of us became IT experts during the aftermath of the VAR audio coming out, lol?

I blame it on the inverted full back system.

Or maybe Faith, some posters do have an understanding of these areas and also know what actually happened with the whole situation. I mean, some of us do have lives outside of this website.

I actually find it quite interesting when posters veer off onto subjects non-football related that they obviously have good knowledge of, particularly if I don't. Though I'm sure we could ask the Eds to delete everything not related to slagging off LFC players to appease you?

We built our houses out of Bayko Ed.

Footyfan. You're asking me for an explanation, meaning logical, rational and mature discourse. Let me be the first to inform you that, that has no place here. ??.

Do you remember the new Wembley problems ArAy? There is precedent. Construction companies / builders going to the wall isn’t uncommon.

13 Oct 2023 21:32:54
WDW, fine, but this has tremendous consequences that some people are taking very lightly; why I am saying these type of things should not be happening or allowed to happen. Laborers have (probably) not been paid, club revenue stream is already affected and will continue to be affected, seat holders are unable to view games (many of whom have waited for years to view games) and the list goes on and on. It's a multi million pound exercise with serious consequences if projections are not adhered to and delivered.

I really liked the New Balance purple kit.

14 Oct 2023 08:31:51
Your point about workers not being paid is right ArAy but from a club perspective (and revenue streams in particular) I think they will take a longer term view. It’s a set back but only defers by half a year the revenue streams that they’ll want.
