You mentioned a few midfielders you'd be interested in seeing us sign:

I was just curious if these are players that the club are considering or if they're just players you like personally?

Do you think the club has learned lessons? In terms of contracts to existing players and firmly identifying targets not constantly changing. I know you mentioned there was plenty time but I don’t think there is we don’t want to be in July trying to decide who is the number one target in each position.

There should be no/ fewer power struggles, and less change also, which would suggest that the house will be in order from now on, provided its not Richard choosing players that Slot does not want.

I'm a hopeless romantic and want us to sign De Bruyne. I can't explain why because on paper it seems silly but I just think it'll be a Gary McAllister/ Andrea Pirlo level success.

We need energy and bite in midfield…. at this stage of his career KDB has neither. Great player though, I also suspect he wouldn’t leave City for another prem team.

Have you watch Hugo Larsson Ed? Is he more of a ball winning midfielder or more of a playmaker type of player?
{Ed001's Note - I have only seen a little, but he looks exactly like the type of player Slot is looking for - a playmaker who can break up play as well.}
