Vik, we lost three centre halves, VvD, Matip and Gomez to long term knee injuries. Henderson and Fabinho covered for them, leaving us short in midfield, and they also got injured and were out for weeks.
We brought in Kabak and Davies but finished the season playing Williams and Phillips at centre half.
I mean, we could have signed five centre halves anticipating the injuries we suffered but I thought we did well to finish third that season.
