Unfortunately various details will drip feed out by the media ‘to bring a fresh take’ to it and stop regurgitating the same old story. End of the day there job is to get clicks and engagement, morals have long gone out the window.

At the end of the day there will be an enquiry and details will emerge which in turn, will be reported.
It’s inevitable, it’s up to you whether you want to read/ listen to them or not.
At least it stops all of the uneducated speculation I guess but I agree the details are irrelevant. The outcome is heartbreaking enough, knowing the details can only make matters worse. I’ll choose to avoid these reports as much as I possibly can.

But it wasn’t the media Noski it was the Spanish Police releasing a statement which the media reported on.
Do you expect the media to ignore it? It’s their job to report news and that is an official statement and so is news.
If the media were doing their own research and reporting on speculation then I’d agree with you but the media reporting on an official statement from the police force involved is exactly what they should be doing.

@slowdog76, I thought the exact same thing when I read this disgraceful headline. I mean, two young men lost their lives. Parents lost sons. Wives have become widows, kids have become fatherless etc. and STILL these despicable rags will NOT let people grieve in peace. Seriously, What Da Football, man!
