It's a good sign Thunderbird. It's 2025 mate, and our club, the league, and world is using data as a big part of player evaluation and projections. Etitike is not perfect but at 23 using data can help prognosticate what he might be like at 25/ 26. Was datea used heavily for someone Nunuz? I'm sure it was looked at but in the end that was a Klopp eye test buy imo and thinking he could bring out any upside.

That's the thing Ron, xG based stats literally remove the keeper from the equation. Don't get me wrong, there are problems in both those stats and in Hugo's game, but talking about his league, when Marmoush joined a struggling Man City from the exact same team in January, and got 7 in 16, doesn't sound right to me.

No Thunderbird, but using goal stats alone to “prognosticate” what he might be at 25/ 6 is pure folly if you don’t consider the standard of the defences and goalkeepers.
For what it’s worth I think Nunez could outscore Ekitike in Germany.

Marmoush did get 7 goals in 16 league games for City, but he also got 4 goals in 15 league games, having scored a hattrick in one game.
I’m just not convinced by Ekitike but I hope he does well if we sign him.
